Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born in Gauteng, grew up in Limpopo and now staying in the Free State. Living in these three provinces exposed me to different languages, traditions and cultures and to a realisation of how many of us are losing what was there in the past.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was about 17 years old, writing some short love poems to the people I love and admire but they never reached the hands of any of them.
