Yosef and Maryam is a fictional love story account based on the historical New Testament characters of Joseph and Mary, the parents of Jesus, who are depicted as ordinary humans, not saints from birth. As God-Crossed lovers it portrays what they had to undergo because they chose to love God more than each other. It also ventures a reason for Joseph's sudden disappearance from scripture.
