Mary Farve

Biography

Nice to meet you! I'm Mary, a hospice worker living in London. I was looking to spice up my life, so I decided to try my hand at writing taboo erotica. I never thought I'd publish, but then I heard of BreakWave House, which is 100% owned and operated by minority women. It donates 10% of its proceeds to charity, and made selling sexy books seem less skeevy, and more sex positive & fun! So I'm very thankful to have been given this opportunity. Besides writing, I play football - to Americans, soccer! I'm also a big Manchester fan. When I'm not working, writing, or playing football, I'm shoe shopping. You caught me. I have a huge weakness for sparkly stilettos. Thanks so much for your interest, as a new author I sincerely appreciate it! My work is inspired by my fantasies. Ultimately I'm always into the erotica I'm writing. So, I love to hear from my fans. Feel free to tweet me @FarveMary!

Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
As I write pseudo this is awkward to say, but I love intergenerational family sagas. Especially if they involve romance! Isabelle Allende's the House of the Spirits is fantastic. Colleen McCullough's The Thorn Birds is also excellent. Roots: An Intergenerational Family Saga is classic. Well, these all are! I'm also quite, quite partial to Jane Eyre, and one of the novels it inspired, Wide Sargasso Sea.
What do you read for pleasure?
Quite a bit of erotica, if you'll pardon the double entendre!
