Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I just end up reading manga, watching anime, listening to music and enjoying film. As a uni student, I also have to do the compulsory work, and I travel to and fro from their to my home. Other than that, I tend to spend time with my friends, usually participating in any of the aforementioned activities.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
While I can't remember the first story, I can remember my first purely original work. It was a story about a girl who had been deemed a witch by her village. When she was chased away, a kind man took her into his home and taught her about the ways of his people, and essentially making her his daughter. Together they met friends and had fun. However, they were discovered by the people of her village, and in order to save her, the man gave up his life for her. To honour him, she ran to the city, where no one knew she was a witch. There she married a nice man, had a child with him, and named the boy after her deceased father. I think I was about ten or eleven when I wrote that piece. It took up an entire exercise book, and I was very pleased with myself.
