Margaret Sorick

I am a Pennsylvania native and a resident of Bucks County for the past 23 years. My lifelong love of reading has prompted the desire to write. My stories are about love and family, with humor and mystery thrown in, and are set in Bucks County, a place dear to my heart. I live with my long-suffering husband, a good for nothing dog and a tyrannical cat in West Rockhill, Pennsylvania, just about an hour north of Philadelphia.

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Only five? Well, currently I'd list Dune by Frank Herbert for the intricate world building, Girl On the Train by Paula Hawkins for the suspense, My Antonia by Willa Cather for the imagery of the plains and its settlers, Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Dafoe because who wouldn't love to be marooned on a tropical island? and finally Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen for the fascinating look at life in a depression era circus, and the happy ending!
What do you read for pleasure?
Romance novels!
