Lionheart Healthcare founder and CEO Megan Johnson is a social entrepreneur dedicated to providing disruptive innovation to assist the elderly, the chronically ill and their families with courageous and compassionate in-home care.

Megan's own personal experience of being a caretaker for her husband who was diagnosed with dementia made her strongly committed to serve those in need so they never feel lost, alone or overwhelmed in complex health care systems as they try to take care of their loved one.

Her upcoming book "Do You Want to Climb a Mountain? A Caretaker's Guide Through Dementia" lights a path to follow with stories, advice and guidance for those taking care of loved ones who have dementia. The upcoming release is planned for April 2015.

Lionheart Healthcare is committed to providing holistic, personalized and comprehensive care coordination plans for individuals that builds a "Lion Pride" circle of support around clients that makes life less stressful and easier for families in their time of need.
Megan Johnson spent ten years as a Health Care Consultant in the West Coast consulting for large health care organizations before founding Lionheart Healthcare and becoming a health care advocate for those "lost in the system." She was born in Detroit, Michigan and received her B.A.from the College of Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
