Amalia Eirini Tzimopoulou

Biography

Amalia Eirini “Melina” Tzimopoulou was born in Athens, Greece in 1964. A restless and free spirit from a tender age, she has always embraced life with wide-eyed wonder and creative zeal. While studying International Relations at the Institut de Hautes Etudes Internationales in Switzerland, she simultaneously followed a programme in Art History at the Faculte des Lettres. She lived in Geneva for nine years, during which time she worked for Promexpo Blenheim s.a. organizing international trade expositions, and later as an exhibit coordinator for Gallerie Salambo.
Upon returning to Greece she was employed as the personal assistant and interpreter for the Tunisian Ambassador to Greece, followed by a position in Public Relations for Lavipharm s.a. Her multi-cultural education and experiences have characterized her as a citizen of the world, instilling in her a great respect for people of all nationalities. Her aesthetic training in the arts however drove her to seek more personalized expression for her creative impulses. That led her to explore interior decoration and private event planning. (For examples of her work visit www.spitiatouiliou.gr).
Her deep desire to develop as a being led her to study the esoteric philosophies of Ancient Greece and the Far East. Her conscious personal journey began in 2006 when she participated in the four month seminar “Transform Yourself” with Louise Hay. From November 2007 – September 2010 she developed from a 1st to 3rd Degree Reiki practitioner and throughout that period she found great inspiration in the teachings of Osho. She visited India in February 2008 however it was while meditating on July 7th 2009 that she first experienced the connection to the Universal All which inspired the first chapter of her book. Nine months and four days later, the first rough draft of her brain child was completed.
From that point onward she attended numerous lectures delivered by a variety of spiritual thinkers and studied for two years with Robert Elias Natjemy (www.armonikizoi.gr) in Athens. Parallel to those studies she began to explore the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus with Giorgos Kontokollias and Pythagorean numerology with Rena Hatzidaki. She also participated in a seminar on the application of “The Healing Code”, and all of those activities deepened her already intense desire to share her experiences with others.
From earliest childhood she knew what she wanted to do when she grew up: to make the world a happier place. There was only one little catch... How? She began to share her own adventures in self-knowledge in February 2012 when she started delivering seminars of her own “A Meeting with Ourselves”. Seeing the warmth and intensity of the response her approach was receiving, she became determined to circulate her book with the hope of reaching out to as many others as possible.
The fruit of her efforts will soon be available through all the usual online distribution platforms.
