Nickcolus Blakemore, Sr
Nickcolus Blakemore, son of Memphis’ fallen firefighter William M. Blakemore Sr. and Beverly Blakemore; is a Memphis native and firefighter/EMT for the City of Memphis. He graduated from East High School in Memphis, TN 1996, where he continued his education and attended the University of Memphis as an English major. He then found a calling for helping others attending Chester Anderson Fire Academy in 2003. Nickcolus wrote his first book in 2014, which is the beginning of a series derived from his vast imagination titled The Thomas Chronicles: The Legacy Begins. The Thomas Chronicles are fiction novels that are full of action, adventure and suspense. Nickcolus’ first passion is writing and being creative. But when he is not working or writing, his love for sports and children affords him the opportunity to coach and mentor young men through his non-profit organization The Memphis Saints Youth Football team. He credits a lot of his happiness to his wife Lori and his devout Christianity. He also credits his beautiful wife with the grey hairs that he has recently acquired. His most treasured moments in life are the ones he spends with his family and at his church home One Accord Ministries.
