I am a contributing author at wickedlytwistedtales.blogspot.com and at theselfpublishingexperiment.blogspot.com
I'm also in the process of finishing up my first novella and pursuing a career in self-publishing.
When I am not writing, working on art, or Beta Reading I can usually be found chasing after my two kids. But when all the kids have been put to bed and the night is quiet I'm usually hiding somewhere playing video games or watching Anime or Doctor Who with my husband.
Ryder is a fake- and he knows it. He spends his days pretending to be a paranormal investigator and his nights entertaining groups of people at his seminars. When a mysterious woman shows up he finds out that the world he thought was fake is actually real and even worse, he has become the paranormal world's most wanted.
I loved this short story. Bottom line it is fun. The characters are engaging and certainly not dull or boring. Even though this is a short story and a quick read it keeps your attention and holds it tight. This is a prequel and from the background already given here in The Touch of Night this world that A.L. Kessler has created is rich with danger and intrigue. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the Dark War Chronicles and getting to know these characters more. Especially the villain.
