Michael Hayes

When I was younger, the act of writing was cathartic—a way for me to reveal what I otherwise couldn’t express. As I have grown older, writing has become a way of documenting the moment or capturing some story that keeps asking to be told. The ebooks you will find here were written by both the younger and older me. It is my desire to share my writing with fellow travelers who are documenting life’s journey through verse, story, and memoir.

Little Lenny Helzerman doesn’t expect anything more from one day than he does any other day and he doesn’t give anything more to one day than he does any other day. It is all the same. And this suits him just fine.
