I wrote this book when I was 27 years old (29 years ago). A friend suggested I self publish it and our brave new digital world has allowed me to do so. I produce infomercials for a living now but have made documentaries and also had the privilege to work as head of production for Steven Speilberg's Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation for 8 years awhile back. A modern Jewish/Russian Folk Tale mash up gone sideways. David Laib's long missing memoir of his journey to Russia in 1982 when he fell under the spell of two Verushkas; the beautiful American coed, Versuhka and her sorceress great grandmother, Versushka. They travel by train across a Russian winter land going back in forth in time under the spell of the sorceress.
