Michelle Neubauer

Before my literary journey took on a full time mission I worked free-lance at the City Newspaper with the experience I earned being an Opinions Editor for the college newspaper. I also received my license to legally broadcast on the radio which I did in college and followed that up with an internet radio show shortly after graduating.

I have many published poems I have received awards for. I also published an article for a health magazine dealing with chronic illnesses. I started writing The Victim Behind The Mask and have been working on perfecting it after I married my husband Aaron. After marrying my husband we lived as a military family on the Army base he was stationed at. After the Army we moved to Maine where love to watch the Twilight saga over and over (yes, I know I am a Twi-Hard). With the great support from my Family and inspiration from my father, Mike I have decided The Victim Behind The Mask is ready to be released. The Victim Behind The Mask will be published shortly.
Born and Raised in Illinois. Currently residing in New England. Began my literary journey in Jr. High. Receiving awards for poetry was only the beginning. I received my first desire to become a published author during my senior year of High School. I was in honors English. We read Homer's The Odyssey. It was at that time I saw how great the impact of writing could have on a person. I also dove head on into photography and have several years of experience under my belt. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 2004 from Lewis University in Illinois.
I am currently working on my second novel which I am extremely excited about. I plan on doing a poetry book as well. I have a lot of ideas up my sleeve and cannot wait to unleash them. I am so thankful to have such a supportive husband, family and friends. I also get a little bit of help reminding me it is time to go to work on my writing from my loving kittens Kiki and Nala. There will be much more to come.
