Miji Campbell grew up in a close-knit, middle-class family in the 1960s and ’70s. In early adulthood, her orderly life began to unravel. In this insightful memoir, Miji describes how she wrestled with increasing anxiousness – feelings that haunted her through career, marriage, and the birth of her children. It’s not until middle age that she found ways to quiet her mind and stand on her own.
