Mimi Black

Biography

I'm a 30 year old singleton, with the intention of world domination. Failing that, I'd just like to publish an eBook!
No pets, no boyfriend, hardworking writer, trying to figure out what to do with life, and what happens when oranges are thrust into your hands when lemons aren't available.
Short writer (un)extraordinaire, with a writing attention span of Dory, rating my current success on a scale of zero to Stephen King with a -402...

Welcome to my world. Pull up a toadstool...

Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
1. The Picture of Dorian Gray - because it's a classic, Wilde writes beautifully and I will never be able to... Sigh...
2. Stephen King - The Green Mile... Come on, what's not to love about this book? Morbid, but a beauty! Brilliant film, also!
3. Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit - I can't describe why I love Tolkien so much, but he's created a world I can never forget.
4. Alice in Wonderland - it's short and easy to read, but, it was my main childhood story book. Read that way too many times to remember!
5. Narnia chronicles - Again, another childhood classic. After LW&W, I actually tried to walk through my wardrobe numerous times... I still never got to meet Mr. Tumnas. Gutted!

I am currently reading Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales, bought for me by a friend. It's a classic hardback with the leather cover engrained with patterns and gold edged paper and smells mmm..... Sorry. It's beautiful...
