This is not a book of Tafseer but a book inviting us to act on the instructions that Allah (SWT) gave us to live in this world such that it will enable us to create a society that is beautiful for anyone who lives in it – Muslim or not. These are a series of 6 – Khutbas given using the Ayaat of Sura Al Hujuraat which define for us the Akhlaaq of the Ummati of Rasoolullah (SAS).
The Khutbatul Wada (Farewell Khutba) is called by that name not because it was the last Khutba of Rasoolullahﷺ but because it was his farewell message to all humanity until the end of time. Farewell messages are important because those delivering them wish to state the essence of their principles; the most important aspects of what they stood for and what they want us to remember and practice.
This short booklet is an attempt to share my learning and understanding of the main issues in a marriage and a look at what it takes to make a marriage a source of great joy and fulfillment in this life. I hope that those who read it will benefit from it and will live happy, productive and satisfactory lives. The book is focused at Muslims but others can also benefit.
“There are forking times in history. Times characterized by uneasy rumblings, turmoil, warfare. Times where the foundations of the structures of society are shaken. A time when for this very reason, a window opens briefly in the landscape of life where the actions of a single man or woman can change the path of destiny.
This is such a time.”
