My review is not just about this book, but the entire series. The story line is amazing and each book left me with wanting more and more. I had to wait months for the next book to come out and each time I was never disappointed. Erica Stevens is an amazing author and writer, and I think her series should be well known. Maybe it is similar to the Twilight series or maybe even the Hunger Games, but the story line isn't even close to them. This series is in its own level and category as it should be. This series would have to be my second favorite series of all time, the first being Lynsay Sands Argeneau series. The Captive series is one HIGHTLY recommend to anyone interested in supernatural beings. It contains romance for young adults, so don't expect "hot steamy romance". I promise this series will not disappoint you.

This book was absolutely hard to put down! I honestly could not stop reading it and am desperately waiting for the second book to come out. I love how, in a sense, there is a silent, mutal understanding between the characters, and without direct indication of romance between the characters, you see the romance in small ways start to form and leave you itching to continue to follow it! Please post the second book very soon. I am greatly looking forward to it.

I absolutely loved this series and couldnt put it down. However, i must say Megan was soo annoying. Nate could pick his nose differently or wrong and she will throw a fit and say "she needs space to think about things". Other than that the series itself was amazing. Only complaint is about Megan's attitude and behavior. It happened too many times throughout the series.
