Biography

During the year of 1982 the Lord Jesus Christ drew me to Himself. I experienced a deep conviction concerning the efficacy of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for my eternal salvation.

During my years of Military Service in the SANDF 1988-1989 the Lord Jesus Christ worked powerfully in and among us, doing a graceful work of transformation, as He used us to draw many other fellow soldiers to Himself.

After completing my military service, I spend several years as a missionary with Operation Mobilization (OM). During these years the Lord continued to birth in me a deep compassion for the emotionally wounded. This compassion continued to grow; especially in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ renewing my own mind and binding up the wounds of my own broken heart.

After completing my studies, (through UNISA) at the Hugenote College in Wellington, South Africa, I started working as the Program Coordinator at the Mkhondo Alathia Rehabilitation Center (MARC) in Piet Retief. Within months after starting at MARC I was introduced to "Theophostic Prayer Ministry Principles" (TPM) and Dr. Edward Smith's first manuals (late 1990's). When the director of MARC, Barry van Rensburg, recognized the grace upon my life and tasked me to equip the other staff members in TPM as well.

After gaining rich experience in ministering to and equipping others (5 years at MARC) our Pastor Len Weston, and the elders at Wellspring Ministries, approached me to equip believers across cultural and denominational boundaries in Inner-Healing prayer ministry principles.

As our small team connected relationally with other believers and the Lord Jesus Christ opened many doors for us to minister and equip others in turn. The work progressed steadily, and with Piet Retief as the base, spread rapidly throughout the region from Ethandakukhanda, Newcastle, Vryheid, Pretoria, Swaziland, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda and even as far as Indonesia.

The Holy Spirit clearly directed me to write the book "TASTE LIFE - Healing the Wounded" that is now used to better equip people all over the world in "Inner-Healing Prayer Ministry Principles."

Even as a social worker in private practice I am still using the principles contained in "TASTE LIFE - Healing the Wounded" on a daily basis.
