N.S. Chorman

I grew up on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, where I was raised more or less feral before being forced to attend public school. I started writing speculative fiction at the earliest opportunity. The ideas in my novel Foothold made first contact in high school, fueled by backwoods paranoiac rumors and a healthy diet of pulp.

I am currently seeking a mass market publisher and working on my next story.

The New Frontier acts as a beacon for the unusual. Torn from its native dimension and dropped into the abandoned ruins of the American Northwest, an ambitious alien being takes root in the mind of Lee Bishop, a self-exiled colonist from the now defunct Recolonization Initiative. This union sets in motion a cascade of changes that will reshape minds, bodies and the very structure of the world.
