Musa Gift Masombuka
Born 01 April 1998. A self-published writer in the United States, he does most of different kinds of writing pieces but mainly he focuses on poetry. Musa started schooling at Mohlahlane primary school and attended his secondary studies at Majatladi. He comes from a village of Regae just outside Marble Hall. His writings are based on what he had experienced and the stories he is told by other people. Musa got into the publishing industry by 2013 when his first collection of poems got published titled Flog A Dead Horse Poetry Anthology which was published by AuthorHouse publishers in Birmingham. From the moment then he got deeper into the publishing industry where he published two more books at once with CreateSpace Independent publisher, the titles are: Oh What’s That Sound? Poetry Anthology and Phrases Blown By Wind Short Stories. Musa has been a writer who sees the talent of other writers from his village and try to pick them up. That is why in most of his books he has collaborated with other writers from his village. Musa has also become one of the poets they read about him online, he is published at various online magazines such as: Fundza Literary Trust; Botsotso online magazine; PoemHunter.com and other blogs.
