Myra Mainz

Myra is horror author, artist and gifted poet, we are excited to see what she brings to the mix. Myra's influences include, Lovecraft, Poe, Byron and Shelly. When asked what turns her on most in litterature, she responded, "It might sound wrong, but I love brother sister love stories. Flowers in the Attic was one of my favorite series in high school. I love to write about isolated siblings with forbidden desires for each other. I love to read about older step brothers trying to seduce their younger step sisters. I love a good old fashioned boddice ripper with a gothic element and I also love young adult stories like Fallen, Shadow and Bone, Mask of the Red Death, and Hush Hush. My absolute favorite though is flawed heroes or sexy, powerful villains you can't help but root for! Every angel needs a devil, right?"

When big houses stay empty too long, bad things have a way of creeping in. While the villagers say that the trouble started when Mr. Drewer and his son came to live with us, the truth is that the trouble started the day my father died, for that was the day I first felt IT's presence.
