Dr. Sapkota is board certified in Internal Medicine. He finished his residency in 2007 training at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. Since then he has been practicing as a Hospitalist. Hospitalists are physicians who devote 100% of their practice time taking care of very sick patients admitted to the hospital. Dr. Sapkota is an excellent diagnostician and loves cases with challenging or elusive diagnosis. He has published several papers with diagnosis of unusual and uncommon diseases.
Dr. Sapkota is very forthcoming about the limitations of modern medicine. He has always been trying hard to break this unrealistic view of medicine that exists in the general population today. People believe that modern medical technology is infallible and that most diseases can be prevented and cured in all patients. It would be shocking for them to learn how trivial and subjective modern medicine is.
Dr. Sapkota enjoys writing articles of public interest and has been a regular Columnist at the Columbus Telegram, a daily local Newspaper.
