Nada Sobhi


Born in Cairo, Egypt, Nada Adel Sobhi earned her BA in English Language and Literature, Cairo University in 2009. She was the editor of her department's student poetry and creative writing magazine "The Muse" from 2006 till 2015.

She is a poet, short story and flash fiction writer and currently blogs about her writing, book reviews and everything literary, including her monthly picture-prompt writing series "Takhayyal/Imagine" on Nadaness In Motion.

Nada's poetry has been published in Scripting Change's projects, "Beyond the Words" (2014) and "Breaking Free" (2016), the proceeds of which go to charity. Her poem "Remember" was published in Paragram's poetry anthology under the same name in 2015.

An editor and translator with over 6 years of experience with the language pairs English - Arabic - English, Nada served as the Editor-in-Chief of HR Revolution Middle East Magazine, an Egypt-based Ezine for all things HR and work-related.

She was also the Editor-in-Chief for the English Department of Language and Literature, Cairo University's poetry and creative writing magazine between 2006-2015.
