Born in County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, I spent my childhood and early adulthood living in England. After leaving school I began to travel, and spent many years living with no fixed abode in ‘Benders’ and Horse-drawn wagons.
Like many budding writers, I have a long list of places I have lived and a multitude of different careers and experience to drawn my inspirations from. I've also owned some really snazzy hats. Writing, it seems, was in my blood.
I now live in County Leitrim in Eire, with my wife and have two teenage children. I have a love of nature, as well as Gaelic Football and Rugby. Throughout my life I have always had an interest in poetry and fantasy literature and have constantly written poetry and short stories.
