Peanut Buttered Roast Squid: A Boomer Travels Solo

I write as a former student of Susan's. The book is a very enjoyable and relaxing read. As I read, I could hear and see the same person who had taught me AP English. The book, I found, is true to the writer. The other compelling aspect of the work is the amazing description. It's not just the sights; it's food, sounds, people, taste! The reader is drawn into a very vivid and colorful experience. In all, I found it to be a great tale and example of self redemption: letting go of the past, and reconstructing one's life in a creative and empowering manner, while staying true to one's self.
