Nikki, In Stitches started from my passion for crafts, and grew into a craft blog. I wanted to highlight all the great, creative ideas out there, and it has grown bigger than I ever could have imagined.

As a life-long crafter and one-time teacher, writing a craft blog was the perfect outlet for me to share. Teaching others to craft and cultivate their creative ideas is a passion of mine. And honestly, creating this craft blog and watching it grow is the most fun I have ever had. Nothing makes me happier than witnessing the range and resourcefulness of all my readers’ creative ideas.

I enjoy putting fresh twists on traditional crafts. Mashing up modern methods and old school techniques is a great source for creative ideas in crafting. Even though I have a passion for all things crafty and for blogging, I’m still a seamstress at heart! I’d like to think that I have the skill of someone who’s been sewing and crafting for years, with the style of the hip, young girl I am!
