Liz Noble

Biography

Born amongst the Chilterns in Hertfordshire, Liz now makes her home in Glasgow, Scotland. She lives in a 5th-floor flat with wide windowsills perfect for sitting on with a cup of tea to enjoy the view. She shares her home with her Leopard Geko, Ethel, who ignores her completely.

When not writing, Liz spends her time cuddling puppies at a local veterinary hospital, or “working” as she puts it. She has yet to convince her friends and family that there is more to her job than this.

Her favourite pastimes are obsessions, which encompass any projects which hold her attention for longer than ten minutes but no more than two weeks.

Two dear objects of affection in Liz’s life are Toni-o; a venerable notebook of 6 years, which has travelled with her across the globe and has yet to give up on her, and her partner, Stephen; who possesses similar merits. She lives in constant surprise and admiration of them both.

Liz’s favourite influences in writing are Terry Pratchett and Eiichiro Oda, who have taught her that eccentricity in thought and word are priceless, and to never, ever take oneself too seriously.
