The Author or more precisely the Compiler is an IT professional who was forced to reflect upon his life because of an unresolved and on-going heart problem. He sought early retirement for a change in lifestyle in the hope that it might help cure his illness and at the same time embarked on a search for something that is more meaningful and rewarding in life. His search led him and ended to a book A Course in Miracles. As a regular Bible reader, the Course gave the Author a better understanding of the Holy Book especially that of the New Testament and at a deeper level a better understanding and appreciation of the purpose and meaning of life. He continues to study the Course and practises its teachings. His book Biblical Citations from A Course in Miracles is an offshoot of his study and his desire to make the path of other students of life much easier and certain. Specifically he wants to share his book to all the Christian readers who are longing for a fresh or new perspective about the Bible and to all open-minded readers searching for something meaningful and purposeful in life.
This book is a compilation of Biblical references and verses as contained from another book called A Course in Miracles. The latter is a self-study book about the true meaning of Christianity and how to practise it. It was believed to be inspired by Jesus Christ and channelled to Dr Helen Schucman, former Professor at Columbia University, New York City. Read snippets of the Course from this book.
