Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
Now That's Just Stupid: Living Life from Pain to Purpose is a personal journey from rock bottom to realizing your purpose on earth. When my personal and professional life crashed I had no skills left to try to put things back together to keep going. I had accumulated so much emotional luggage and personal heartache and carried that with me for so long that it all blew up around me. So instead I chose to 'fix' what I could fix, 'feel' what I had to feel and 'forget' what needed forgotten. Piece by piece I rebuilt my life back and landed in the middle of my purpose. The book is a 64 chapter journey of short stories of real life issues and questions at the end of each one to lead the reader toward their destiny.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Pain was the biggest motivated to begin writing and the writing developed into a book. I simply refused to believe that all the heartbreaks, devastation, poor decision making and circumstances beyond my control were endured for nothing. Instead I made them have a purpose. Now my book can help others realize what their true purpose in life really is.
