Rebecca, please please keep writing! This is a really special book, seriously well done. Also keep on noticing small details about people and playing around with words, because you're very good at it. Really like some of the imagery you've got there- like 'the dark blue and the purple fought it out in my head', that was great. I can see Jacqueline Wilson's influence in your work but think you might just have the edge ;-)
