Boa Ortiz conceived the idea of Children of Avarice while studying music at the City College of New York. After coming to grips with the reality that a career as a professional songwriter was highly unlikely (due to lack of talent), he dropped out of school in 2012 and devoted his days to crafting the story into a full-fledged manuscript. Turning to writing has been one of the best decisions he’s made. Boa Ortiz born in the Dominican Republic. He currently lives in the United States.
