Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

I grew up in the English countryside, in a house with a garden I could play in, surrounded by trees - so fortunate to have had a happy childhood. I guess all three of my novels have been based more in the countryside than in cities.

What do you read for pleasure?

Contemporary women's fiction.
Getting more into crime fiction these days too.
