A Not So Magical Day
on Feb. 19, 2020
I love how the author blends fantasy and realism—the typical adolescent jealousy and animosity between two witchcraft apprentices, and a broom from Sears for a beaker shattered during a magical training.
The story embraces all kinds of fantasy devices, such as time travel, demonism, or talking to animals. These devices carry you smoothly and swiftly through the plot toward a nailbiting battle against a creature called Chupacabra. It doesn’t end there, though, for Chupacabra is just an agent of a much more powerful entity…
I look forward to another installment of this interesting story.
