Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town of Bangor in North Wales in the United Kingdom. Growing up there really influenced me to start writing because some of the scenery in Wales is breath-taking and I always craved an adventure or two. Being an creative individual I could never stop daydreaming. So I had to write all of my ideas down.
When did you first start writing?
I have always had many ideas for many many years now in which I didn't write down. I actually started writing about five or more years ago.

  • 15 Short Stories on July 20, 2015

Although I rarely read short stories I decided to give this one a go because of the price and I wasn’t disappointed. I really enjoyed all fifteen short stories, it was a great mix of horror. Some stories were shorter than others, but all were packed full of dark, gritty and frightful moments that sent chills down my spine. The author really captures the true essence of what makes a horror novel work, by writing from the heart and that dark place most authors hide in the back of their minds. An excellent and chilling book that is worth more than the price and I look forward to many other stories that the author will hopefully release in the future.
