Placer Gold Writers Ink

Publisher info

When the members of Placer Gold Writers decided to publish our first book, we debated long and hard how we would accomplish it. A few suggested we attempt the traditional way of publishing: looking for an agent and/or finding an indie publishing house that would be interested in our book. The bolder members through we should self-publish because they had been researching that for their own work. Ultimately, we chose the second path.

The two members who agreed to be the editors began to realize that - if we were going to the depth of education and experience "Through Button Eyes" was taking - publishing should a permanent part of our group.

Therefore, our dream is, after "Button Eyes" is launched, we will immediately begin work on our second anthology for release in 2017. If book #1 raises any kind of profit, we will use it to fund book #2 and marketing efforts. In the mean time, we will explore incorporating PLACER GOLD WRITERS INK so we can offer publishing opportunities for our members' individual works, produce invitational anthologies and perhaps launch a literary magazine.

The motto for the INK group is, "If you're going to dream - dream big!"

Check back often to learn about our progress - perhaps you will dream with us!
