Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
My first 'Published' piece was in junior school at age 7, it was a simple poem.
My first story was for a english project in the early years of high school, it was about an old man who lived in a shack by the pier who befriended a boy he called 'Mouse'.
What is your writing process?
I have tried many ways, but for me what seems to work best is to just sit and begin typing. I create a character list containing reminders about age; hair colour; occupation as i add them to my story. I have a basic idea but do not plan too far ahead, I like to see what develops as i write and see where it takes me, to me that makes the storyline more realistic and believable.
