Francisco Criado

Francisco Criado (Lima, 1978) studied at the Alexander von Humboldt School in Lima, Peru, and has a Master's degree in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, obtaining the degree with the thesis "The Outbreak of the Great War (1914-18) from the perspective of the Peruvian press." Previously, he participated in the IV International Colloquium of History and Literature of the University of Guanajuato with the presentation "Literary elements in the creation of the archaic Roman tradition: the case of Book II of Tito Livio." He also has a degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico, with a final research project that dealt with the effects of the Great Depression of 1929 in Peru. Specialized in the classical Greco-Roman world and world wars, he has two blogs dedicated to it, one of which recalls events that occurred exactly one hundred years ago and has been in operation since 2014 in memory of the centenary of the Great War.
