I love this! Can I get a board? Seriously, this is a great romp through an incredible new place filled with all sorts of odd characters. It's a little like Great Expectations meets the God Father. Who IS Jarvis anyway and why does she have the original Jelka knife? This is a smart, exciting read that has adventure, mystery and a brand new universe to explore. This story shows promise of becoming a really good, well written book. The characters have depth, the world is well thought through. I'm eagerly awaiting the next episode, new characters and exciting plot revelations still to come. Good job.
Seriously desperate...poor Michael! Our strange red haired Jelka priest, Nixon, goes home to roost and meets with this nephew. There are plots within plots here. I can't wait to see what Nixon does as a Jelka. This episode tells us a little about the underground (literally - under the ground), as tech savvy as the above grounders are not.

Duxbury takes a very complicated scenario and makes it personal as the story moves along at a good pace toward the inevitable. Good read.

This book was thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining from the first page. A Hilarious romp, I laughed all the way through. Wait until you meet The Dragon Lady. By the end of the book I had developed a real fondness for all the crazy characters, but most especially Bob. Bob Is Real!!
