Where did you grow up and how did it influence your writing?
I grew up in the seaside town of Bray, County Wicklow which is about twelve miles south of Dublin, Ireland's capital city. It is an area of exquisite natural beauty. On the eastern side it is washed by the waters of the Irish Sea, while on the west it is protected from the prevailing winds by the majestic Wicklow Hills. For me it is a very special place. It is the setting of my book Even Lame Ducks Can Soar because I believe that natural beauty is a huge positive factor in maintaining good health. I believe that tuning into the positive energy of creation is essential therapy.
What's the story behind your book?
It is a story of empowerment. It advises readers on the use of simple natural strategies which have been scientifically proven to help alleviate the negative effects of stress, guilt, depression, anxiety, and fear.
