Patrick Brown

Patrick Brown is an avid nature lover and dedicated fan of the Eastern shore, living and working in Wilmington Delaware.

Patrick was born in Wilmington and grew up near New Castle Delaware. The son of an avid fisherman and crabber Pat learned to navigate the land and waters around the Chesapeake and Delaware bays at an early age developing a love of nature and the outdoors.

Youthful exuberance and a desire for adventure lead Pat away from Delaware to serve in the Army from 1982 – 1985. He served with The 1st Infantry Division, Ft. Riley Kansas, then with the 65th Combat Engineer Battalion, Schofield Barracks Hawaii.

After his discharge from the Army Pat began a career in sales, first selling Rainbow vacuums door to door; then jewelry, he even worked as a milkman for a day. Finally he found himself in the car business until 1997 where he met many of the characters he is now cultivating into his writing.

When not writing, Patrick currently works as a business analyst for a major financial institution in Wilmington.

Patrick’s political views range from liberal to moderate depending on the issue, but considers himself a true libertarian. A product of the 80’s he is no stranger to the wilder side of life or with experimentation in all things that inspire the imagination or satisfy the individual’s need to explore. Patrick believes wholeheartedly in the individual. The individual’s right to live life as he or she sees fit and the individual’s right to seek happiness in whatever form that person deems necessary and correct
