NEW FIELD, NEW CORN is an anthology of research papers that explore topics from the rich legal history of Alabama and its influential legal figures. Topics include Justice Hugo Black, equity courts, the state's many constitutions, the enclosure movement, militarization of the University of Alabama, and the case of Strange v. State.
