I'm currently a government employee and volunteer tax preparer for the IRS. My dream is to publish a book that is later adapted to a feature film. I got my start in the entertainment field when I packed my bags and headed for NYC. I enrolled in New York Film Academy in 2005 where I studied Production and screenwriting for film. I later received an internship as a production assistant on season 5 of HBO The Wire. After two episode I was asked to come on board full-time as a paid crew member. I was able to experience set life hands on by directing background talent, and helping a full season of a cable series comes to fruition all while befriending cast members. After The Wire was completed I enrolled in Full Sail University where I received my bachelors in business entertainment. I eventually decided to turn my passion of writing screenplays into writing fiction, a process that took years to accomplish. I'm currently editing my first book 'Blood is Thicker than Sugar' which will be released in 2015.
BLOOD IS THICKER THAN SUGARS is an intense, high paced, young adult sports fiction about a prep basketball standout and his complications with type-1 diabetes. The first chapter, "Love has a shot clock" is a stand-alone short story that serves as an introduction to the 15 chapter fictional story
