Cynthia Downing is the youngest daughter of the late Deacon L. V. and Mrs. Emma L. Downing. She is the mother of one daughter, Cyntoria. Cynthia is a native of Florida. Cynthia received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management of Human Resources from Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. She received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Cynthia was recently accepted as a doctoral candidate at Walden University.
Cynthia enjoyed a successful twenty-five year career in the Restaurant and Hospitality Industry. Cynthia has held positions as a Sr. General Manager, Managing Partner, and Area Director, reaching the height of her work experience as a Director of Operations of the Midwest region.
Cynthia is active in her community. She is the former public relations coordinator for the Polk County Gospel Choir. She has also been a columnist for The Polk County Banner and The Quest. Cynthia is a former radio show host of "Saturday Inspirations". She is the 2nd Vice President of the local Branch NAACP.
Cynthia is active in many ministries of her church. She serves as a Sunday school teacher, Newsletter editor and website administrator, President of the Shepherd’s Care Ministry and Youth Ministry counselor.
Cynthia has managed young people and adults with many diverse backgrounds from big cities to small towns. She has a unique style of connecting with people and of developing their potential. After years of developing managers Cynthia was lead to start her own coaching business doing business as Minority Women Business Coach and Coaching U 2 Success. Cynthia is an entrepreneur, consultant, speaker and author of the e-book "Activating Your Strength Instead of Fear."
