Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
I'm working on a science-fiction novel - although it might be better described as four novella-length stories following the adventures of the same central character. At this moment I have outlines of the stories and I'm building those up with more detail.
Who are your favorite authors?
Iain M Banks, Neil Gaiman, Kameron Hurley, Robert Silverberg, Ursula K Le Guin, James S A Corey, Kevin Hearne, Beth Bernobich, Chuck Wendig, Emma Newman . . . those are just the ones that spring to mind right now. I have a lot of favourites.

Finish Your Book

Have you ever had an idea for a book, and started to write it—and managed only a page or two before the words dried up? In this book I show how to develop a story and characters from a vague idea to a complete storyline, and use that as a roadmap that keeps the writing on track. The book is intentionally short—read it in an hour, use it right away, and then keep it as a handy reference.
