Pete grew up in a small town not far from Kalamazoo, MI. After spending the requisite time in college he hit the road to experience this great country of ours. Living and working in the South before finally settling down in Florida.
After reading Reflections in the Mirror you will note Kalamazoo, Charlotte and Mississippi have a special place in his heart, but no place is like home – Sunny South Florida.
How do you approach cover design?
II wanted the cover to be relevant to the story. So for “Reflections in the Mirror” it was obvious I needed a beautiful blue eyed blonde onr the cover. Originally I hade a photo shoot planned but there was a schedule conflict between the model and the photographer. I compromised and bought a stock image and had a graphics artist develop the cover around the image.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read anything by Randy Wayne White. Living in South Florida I appreciate all stories that use Florida and its people as part of the story line . Secondly his characters make me laugh. I know people like that. James Lee Burke is one of my all time favorites. He is so descriptive, a true story teller.
The story of Sam Wood the reluctant government assassin. A man who struggles with his inner demons as his life slowly spins out of control.
“Reflections in the Mirror” is a fast paced action novel with quirky characters and plenty of local flair.
