Biography

Peter Ninnes has lived and travelled extensively in Japan since 2005, initially as a tourist and then as a resident from 2007-2015. He has been fortunate to get to all 47 prefectures, climb 90 or so mountains, bathe in 220 different hot springs, ski at numerous resorts in Nagano, remember a few more kanji than he has forgotten, lose count of the number of temples and shrines he has seen, and eat all sorts of amazing food. Apart from Japan, he has lived in East Timor, Australia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and the US.
