Philemon was born at Sitotwet Village, Kericho District. He attended Sitotwet Primary School and then Moi Sitotwet Secondary school. He got involved in Evangelical Missions and community support with his local church. He has an enchantment with issues relating to society, current affairs and historical facts. He currently studies Education (English Literature) at Moi University in Kenya.
