When did you first start writing?
In grammar school when I tried to write a book similar to the tv show "77 Sunset Strip", of which I was a fan. I made a nest in the basement and that masterpiece was left behind for whomever would find and certainly chuckle over - embarrassing!
I got serious when I was very isolated in wonderful Maine. My first book, Alizé - A Caribbean Love Story, just poured out and I couldn't wait to get back to it. It was like opening a door and being back in the Caribbean.
Describe your desk
An Asian console about five feet long with too many papers piled on it. And a laptop.
