Ryan Lee

Biography

I am not an Impressionist or an Expressionist. I am an Aerial Pressionist. Focus in creating depth in a painting though the usage of atmospheric perspective, as well as mixing impressionism and expressionism together. That style hold true in my writing too.

For I find myself depicting a scene not by objective reality but by the arousal and responses it creates within. Yet, at the same time I am bond on concentrating on the general impression produced by the subject through colors and strokes.

This process applies in my creativity in painting and in my writing.

"For I am human, I am ambiguous…." ~ RBLee

A short short story that is a cross mix genre between fiction and poetry. It was written just for amusement, on my part, in using mainly auditory words and symbolism. If I have to chose what art style "O' Old Man River" is in I would say, Surrealism. Because the process by which it came to mind was signing "O' Old Man River" in my dormitory shower. Imagine how my suite mates felt...Hah..

The artwork is very colorful and well done, and the characters' expressions where capture in each frame. As of now this first volume appear to show some promising development that might concur in future volumes. That is the reason why I am not writing it off, and did not rate this as a half one star rating. The reason I am saying that is because the basic story plot seemed very sound, where slapstick comedy and heart-warmth moments can occur in this well illustrated children comic. However, in this first volume it lacks conflict, humor too dry, and there was at least one grammatical typo.

Find out when a sweat woman falls en-love with a man with a tainted dark side.... ... ... is more a love thriller and suspend then just a regular crime story.
