Raphael Rosenholtz


Raphael graduated from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim high school in Forest Hills, New York as Salutatorian, and went on to attend Beis Medrash at Chofetz Chaim in both Yerushalayim and in Queens, New York. While in Yerushalayim, he was strongly influenced by the Rosh Hayeshiva Rav Moshe Chait, Z"tl, and while in Queens, he spent three years attending the shiurim of the Rosh Hayeshiva Rav Henoch Lebowitz, Z"tl. Following an additional three years of studies, he received an advanced degree in Talmudic Law. He also studied in the Mir yeshiva in Yerushalayim, where he was exposed to the inspirational personality of the Rosh Hayeshiva Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel, Shlita. In February of 2006 he received his M.A. in Mass Communications, with honors, from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. Raphael recently completed a year and a half Semicha program at Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim in New York, NY. At MTJ, he was often able to look on, as the Rosh Hayeshiva Rav Dovid Feinstein, Shlita, responded to wide ranging halachic questions on a daily basis.
