Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy for me in writing is taking something that is well known and then making it my own. I love to ask myself a question and then answer it with a deep character in those circumstances. How are they similar to me, and how are they different?
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The very first story I ever wrote was when I was about ten years old. Even before I was interested in sitting down and writing the stories out, I was running amok outside living the story. The first one that I remember actually writing down was about an orphan girl who grew up to be the most notorious thief in her country, and how she befriended the king and helped change the world. Man, I haven't thought about that story in such a long time!
